Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data we process when you visit www.hoteldarsena.it or contact us using the details given there, why we do so and how long we keep it (Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR").

2. What data we process and why

Please do not include health information in your messages: we will discuss any special needs (for example accessibility) with you directly by phone. We do not use your data for newsletters or marketing unless you ask us to by ticking the box in the quote form (in that case the legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a), which you can withdraw at any time), and we make no automated decisions.
The only form on the website is the quote request form on the Contact page: it is part of the Passepartout booking system, and you will find its own privacy notice inside it.
3. Bookings, WhatsApp and other external services
The "Book" and "Day use" buttons take you to the Passepartout booking system, an external website that provides its own privacy notice when you book. The quote request form belongs to the same system: it only loads when you click "Open the form", and from then on your browser also connects to the Google and Meta (Facebook) services the form uses. If you message us on WhatsApp, the message goes through WhatsApp Ireland Ltd, which processes it under its own privacy policy. The "Open in Google Maps" link opens Google's website. None of these services is contacted until you click the link or button.
4. How long we keep data
- Emails and messages: as long as needed to reply to you, and in any case no longer than 12 months unless they turn into a booking.
- Requests sent with the quote form: for the periods stated in the privacy notice inside the form.
- If the enquiry turns into a booking, the data of the stay is processed to manage it and to meet legal obligations (tax rules and the registration of guests with the police authorities), for the periods those rules require.
5. Who we share data with
Data is not disclosed or sold. It is processed on our behalf, as processors (Art. 28), by:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for any transfers to the United States.
- Passepartout — booking system, day use and quote request form.
- Google — the hotel's email service. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for any transfers to the United States.
- The provider responsible for developing and maintaining the website.
6. Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing toinfo@hoteldarsena.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of your country.
7. Cookies
The website uses no profiling cookies and no analytics tools. Details are in thecookie policy.
